Quail eggs are small (10 grams, 15kcal), so five to six of them roughly equate to the serving size of one chicken egg, and have brown or reddish-brown patterned areas on a white or light background. These eggs are small but surprisingly rich in nutrients with low cholesterol level. Best pair with aspic or salads.
